This page explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data for InstantDP (the InstantDP mobile app and related services operated by InstantDP / Treehex). Use this process if you signed up with email and password or Google Sign-In.

How to request account deletion

Follow these steps to request that your InstantDP account and associated data are deleted:

1. Send an email to [email protected] from the email address linked to your InstantDP account (or the Google account you use to sign in).
2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request – InstantDP
3. Include in the message body:
   • Your InstantDP account email address
   • Whether you signed in with email/password or Google
   • Optional: your username/display name if you remember it
4. We will verify ownership of the account and process your request. You may receive a short confirmation email when deletion is complete.

What data is deleted

When your deletion request is approved, we delete or anonymize the following associated with your InstantDP account:

• Account profile information (name, email, and related account identifiers)
• Authentication credentials and sign-in session data for InstantDP
• Credits, referral, and in-app account preferences tied to your account
• Support tickets and account-linked app records we store on our servers

Media you previously downloaded or saved only on your device is not removed by this process. You can delete those files locally from your device gallery or InstantDP Downloads.

What data may be retained

Some information may be kept for a limited period where required for legal, security, or financial compliance:

• Purchase / transaction records: retained as required by applicable law or payment-provider rules
• Fraud, abuse, and security logs: may be retained in anonymized or limited form for up to 30 days after account deletion
• Aggregated analytics: anonymized statistics that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained

Processing timeline

We aim to complete account and data deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your request. If we need more information to confirm ownership, the timeline starts after we receive that confirmation.
